Alex Jean has released "Thee Authors Ballad" after four months of intensive prayer and production work, dedicating eight hours daily to the project.

Released through Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins' label Alienz Alive: Creators Alive in Christ, the project benefits from the legendary producer's expertise—he's crafted hits for Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, Michael Jackson, and Destiny's Child.

Jerkins established the Christian label in 2022 with a mission to "build community, develop artists, foster dialogue, and encourage storytelling that pursues truth and glorifies God."
