God Said $5.99. Fear Said $19.99 😔
Because when God gives you a number, you leave it alone
I owe y’all an apology.
Last year, the Lord told me to charge $5.99 a month. I did. Then this year, fear got louder than His voice, and I raised it to $19.99. I told myself it was about sustainability. But the truth? I was scared He wouldn’t come through. And that fear made a decision the Lord never authorized.
I haven’t promoted the paid subscription since I changed the price. That should’ve told me something. When you stop standing behind your own work, that’s the Lord tapping you on the shoulder. Proverbs says trust in the Lord with all your heart and don’t lean on your own understanding. I leaned. I’m owning that.
The price is back to $5.99 a month. That’s where He put it, and that’s where it stays.
New articles will be free for the first 24 hours, then they lock. So, if you know that the minute it drops, you’re gonna pull up and read it, twin, I can understand you riding with the free subscription. But for my siblings that be a little busy, or you just don’t have the time to get to it when it drops and you wanna get to it on your own time, lock in with me. $5.99 a month. It’ll be right there waiting for you whenever you get to it, love. I ain’t asking for much. And honestly, if you support this mission, if you get it, if you feel it, I don’t even need you to push your pen. I’ll push mine. Just lock in with me off the monthly. $5.99 a month. Cancel at any time. But let’s lock in.
The Lord commanded that those who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel. I believe that. But I also believe He decides how the harvest comes in, not me.
And listen, I want you to understand what you’re actually paying for. These articles are not just a good read. They are tools. And here’s the thing, we are all called to spread the Word in some way, shape, or form. You don’t have to be an evangelist or a pastor or an apostle or a teacher or a prophet. You don’t have to be anywhere in the fivefold to share scripture with somebody. All you have to do is have a conversation.
And what’s easier to talk about than the culture? Everybody’s got something to say about what’s going on in the world. So why not just merge the two? That’s exactly what these articles do. They take what’s happening out there and put the Word right next to it so you can see what God is actually saying about it.
So now you’re subscribed for $5.99 a month, and at any given time you’re in a conversation and you feel the Spirit leading, you go to your email, pull up the article that fits, and you’ve got your receipts right there. They don’t even have to know you looked it up. You could play it off like you’re checking your phone, texting, whatever. But you’re really in your email grabbing the next scripture to keep the conversation going. Spreading the Word through conversations about the world. I do it all the time. Works like a charm.
It’s less stiff, less scary, less pressure. It’s just a chill, laid back conversation about culture that happens to be seasoned with the Word of God. And everybody loves that.
Now you can still move like that on a free subscription, but you’ll be working with a 24 hour window before the article locks. If that works for you, do your thing. But if you don’t want a deadline on your receipts, lock in for $5.99 a month. I promise you it’s worth it. You got my word.
You ready to lock in? Start here.
Now here’s the part I’ve been wrestling with the most. I’ve never asked for donations in my life. It makes me uncomfortable in a way I can’t fully explain. Pride, probably. I don’t want to feel like I’m begging. But God resisteth the proud and giveth grace to the humble. So, I put my pride down. He has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. And when it came down to it, the Word made it plain. We ought to obey God rather than men. So, I’m being obedient even when it’s uncomfortable, because the Lord commanded that those who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel. Asking for help to do the work of God is not weakness. It’s obedience.
So, I’m asking. There will be a donation link in every post going forward. Give what you feel led to give. A dollar, five dollars, whatever the Lord puts on your heart. I have no shame in receiving it because I have no shame in the work I’m doing here.
And for those of you that aren’t ready to commit monthly just yet, that’s okay too. When the Lord nudges you, sow a one-time seed. It doesn’t have to be big.
Click the link at the bottom, choose your amount, and sow into the work. That’s it.
Feel led to sow? Click here and drop a seed.
And I want you to know this. The Lord is doing greater things than what you’ve seen so far. There are things in the works right now that you don’t even know about yet, and it genuinely takes resources to bring them to life. I can’t do it alone, and I was wrong to act like I could.
Since May 2025, I have shown up. Over a hundred articles. Biblical vocabulary. Etymology. Cultural commentary through the lens of Scripture. I’m not going anywhere. But I need you to rock with me the way the Lord leads you to.
I’m just Savaz. A child of God. Locked in Christ. And I’m fully surrendered to whatever this next season looks like, with or without the numbers, because He has been faithful and I have receipts.
Stay forever locked in Christ. 🔒✝️

Sis, this post was so inspiring and convicting in ways I’m not sure I’m okay with yeah 😰😅 but I’m very grateful for your humbleness and vulnerability. I pray that you are blessed beyond measure for your consistency and obedience.
I’m still recovering in my situation and don’t have an income. But the moment God allows me to I’d love to support as a paid subscriber. You’ll continue to have a supporter out of me.
Love you sis!
