Siblings in Christ, Your Girl is BACK!
Platform Glow-Up, Price Drop, and the Assignment of this Platform
I been away for about a week, but your girl is back. Okay? I'm back.
And let me tell you what I've been up to.
First Things First: We Got Official
So, first of all, I had to really clean up and polish a few things. You know how it is when you're actually trying to build something that lasts.
As you can see, the new aesthetic is dark mode. If it's one thing I know, I know how much y'all love a dark mode website. And so, voila—dark mode it is. You'll also notice that pretty little neon yellow cover image on all the posts. That was for me, okay? This one was for me. You know what I'm saying? I had to tie everything in and get everything nice and uniform. The Locked in Christ colors are gold, white, and black, and that just had to be done.
But Why Though? Copyright Ain't Playing in 2025
And why did I need to do that? Why was that so important? Because I don't have time to deal with no copyright infringement drama, okay? In this day and age of 2025, unless you're going to produce all images that you own and have captured yourself, you got to find a workaround. Using images of others? It just isn't it. Either you do it in a way where they're aware of it and it's okay, or you just avoid it altogether.
For me, I'm avoiding it altogether when it comes to the cover images for each article. Within the articles, I'm going to do it in a way where they're okay with it. Smart moves only over here. PERIOD.
Nothing kills the ministry flow quite like unnecessary legal drama.
Let's Talk Money, Honey
Also, I dropped the subscription price. At first, we were at $9.99 a month—and don't get it twisted, I very much deserve that $9.99 a month. This platform deserves the $9.99 a month. However, we're just getting to know each other, you know what I'm saying? I thought I'd exercise a bit more patience and bring it down to an introductory rate. Eventually, we will gradually work our way up to where it truly deserves to be.
So, as you can see—$5.99 a month. Go support the platform, okay? That's what you spend on coffee without even thinking about it. #imjustsaying
The Real Behind-the-Scenes
I did a lot on the back end to clean everything up. Lockedinchrist.com is officially live and will bring you right here to our new home for now, which is Substack. I'm working on some other really big, special things that are coming soon. I can't speak on them yet, but trust me—anytime I'm tucked away, I'm never tucked away doing nothing. I'm always tucked away doing something.
And of course, y'all know I've been paying attention to the culture of the Kingdom (which I always will), the world, and everything that's transpired publicly. The beauty, the broken, the bold moves of God in the midst of it all.
Trust me, I'm well aware.
Thank You, Thank You, THANK YOU
But first, I just wanted to say thank you so much, you guys, for supporting each and every article that's dropped on Locked in Christ thus far.
We are at 81 subscribers and counting! From zero to 81?
That's how God moves when His people are hungry for truth.
Shout out to all my new subscribers—I love you guys. Shout out to my fanbase community that just came over here and supported—
I love you, thank you. Shout out to each and every person that just came from Clubhouse—
And shout out to my new friends in Nigeria that have come over to support as well. Watching God's people connect across continents for His truth? That's the Kingdom I signed up for.
What's Next?
So, the goal is to get to an article a day but give me the grace to give you a few articles a week at the minimum. This is the official "We back" post. Check out the changes, let me know if you're feeling the dark mode and the gold, glorious cover images.
And pay attention to the next drop because we're about to get into some things. There's a lot going on in the kingdom of God, and it's always a lot going on in the world. We're going to address it all.
The Assignment of Locked in Christ
Because what's the assignment? At the end of the day, the assignment of Locked in Christ is for all of us to walk out of the world and walk into the Word. Each and every article, we shall acknowledge what it is that the world has said, and we will walk out of that and walk into what the Word of God says. Because this is what it means to be locked in Christ—to be locked into the Word of God.
You know, when we commit our work to the Lord, our plans get established. That's exactly what we're doing here. Each and every article of Locked in Christ is committed to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Each article is all for the glory of the Father. We're learning to be in the world but not of the world, coming out from among them and being separate. Because wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, but narrow is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life.
This is why we're here, family. Jesus Christ IS the Word of God, and the Word of God is spirit and life. When we lock into Christ, we're locking into life itself.
That's what it means to be Locked in Christ.
