The First Fruits of Social Audio Ministry: A New Era of Digital Fellowship

Experiencing the Power of Social Audio Edification

I'm excited to share that today I literally experienced the first fruits of what I believe is the rise of social audio fellowship on digital platforms. This morning marked my second session on the Arena social app, and it was nothing short of incandescent.

Over 50 people showed up to a simple morning pop up audio called:

GIVE US TODAY OUR DAILY BREAD

I began with a watch party of a sermon from Apostle Arome Osayi about the seven spirits of God—a topic I'm currently studying. The message was powerful, planting seeds that I trust the Lord will water and bring increase to in our hearts.

After the sermon, I felt the Holy Spirit leading me to share my current understanding of the seven spirits of God. As I began to elaborate on what I've learned, other children of God joined the conversation and added their insights as well. The experience was truly blissful—the edification that the Lord blessed us with through His Spirit in our social audio fellowship was a wonderful sign and miracle of how the Holy Spirit moves in dedicated digital spaces.

A Vision Years in the Making

This is something the Lord has been showing me and giving me zeal for since around 2021 or 2022. For the first time, I'm truly beginning to experience the fullness of this vision becoming reality.

Now, I want to acknowledge that Christian social audio rooms have been happening for years—perhaps since 2018, or even earlier if we include Zoom calls with cameras off. However, what I've been witnessing is different. My conviction has been about the rise of social audio ministries led by the sheep of Christ.

The Revolution of Everyday Ministry

This is the key difference: these are ministries led by those who don't have a church building, those who haven't been formally ordained by man, those who haven't attended Bible college or seminary, and those who don't have a carnal “spiritual covering” to vouch for them and usher them into traditional pulpit authority.

What we're seeing is the first fruit of a harvest where any child of God whom the Lord chooses as a vessel for His word can simply log onto social audio, unmute their microphone, and preach and disseminate the word of God to whoever is listening.

The Practical Beauty of Social Audio Ministry

If you want to be edified by the word of God in a new way, here's what's beautiful about social audio: You can join with your hair still tied up, durag on, no makeup on, ashy elbows, pajamas intact. You can eat your breakfast, cook your dinner or snack on something while receiving spiritual nourishment. You can get this edification from the comfort of your home.

This is different from the online ministry we've become familiar with—primarily on platforms like YouTube or Zoom, where you're typically just watching a leader within the five-fold ministry. In social audio, there's an interactive element that sets this experience. apart from the others

The Power of Conversational Fellowship

Here's the crucial difference: instead of typing in comments and hoping your contribution is seen or acknowledged (knowing the chances are slim to none), in social audio you can actually contribute to the conversation. There's a real opportunity for the Holy Spirit to work dynamically—ping-ponging between you, the leader of the social room, other listeners, and other speakers.

The Spirit can literally bounce from person to person, from listener to speaker, edifying everyone simultaneously. He can do a powerful, simultaneous work of edification in the audio space that's unlike anything we've experienced before.

A Holy Confirmation

I encourage you to take what I'm sharing and ask the Holy Spirit to bear witness to your spirit about these things. This is a new thing the Lord is doing in the earth, and it is absolutely incredible.

I give all honor, glory, and praise to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, because He is doing an amazing work of revival in social audio spaces, and it's unfolding right before our eyes. Pay attention to this movement—connect with other children of God in the social audio realm and experience the edification that flows when believers gather in His name, even in digital spaces.
