They Called It a Sorority. She Called It a College Educated Gang. God Is Calling It Done.
A former Delta Sigma Theta leader is saying out loud what most people still can't remember
Some of you joined because you wanted to belong to something bigger than yourself. That’s not shameful. That’s human. But nobody told you what you were really signing.
She was a leader in Delta Sigma Theta. And she’s saying out loud what a lot of people in Greek life, in the industry, in the lodge still won’t say. The spells were that thorough. The rituals were that consistent. The exhaustion was that deliberate. Darkness doesn’t just take your time. It takes your memory so you can’t build a case against it.
And I want to say this gently the problem was never the community service. It was never even the friendships. It was what was underneath it. The Greek gods that were placed before Him weren’t hidden they were named, invoked, and seated at the same table you were. And you may not have fully understood what you were agreeing to when you walked in.
The Lord tried to tell people privately. Quietly. And when they didn’t take heed, He had to get louder. Not to humiliate. To rescue. Because this was never about how you look to people. This is a soul issue. This is a salvation issue. And He cares more about where you spend eternity than how you feel about being exposed.
I know this may feel scary and even downright humiliating but don’t let shame keep you from freedom.
Grace doesn’t need your memory to begin your healing. What was sealed in darkness, God is unsealing.
Don’t just watch the clip. Pray. Fact-check it against the Word. And get understanding. In all things this is no exception.
Stay forever locked in Christ.
