Most of us never stopped to ask God what fun was actually supposed to look like. We just followed the crowd, leaned on our own understanding, and called it a good time. Nobody told us there was another option. Nobody sat us down and said the Lord was willing to teach us something better. So we never asked. We just kept going.
But that was always the warning hiding in plain sight. Scripture said wine is a mocker and strong drink is a brawler, and whoever gets pulled in by it lacks wisdom.
Not character. Not willpower. Wisdom. The kind that only comes from actually seeking Him on the question.
Deliverance from the spirit of alcohol is not a small thing. It is evidence that God still moves on behalf of people who were never trying to be a problem. They were just never taught what freedom could feel like sober.
